"4CLT," this photograph captures the classic front grille and suspension of the Maserati 4CLT, displayed at the 2024 Zandvoort Historic Grand Prix. The Maserati 4CLT, a notable pre-World War II and early post-war racing car, was designed for Grand Prix racing and made its debut in 1948. Known for its advanced tubular chassis and supercharged engine, it became a significant competitor in the racing world.

The 4CLT is an evolution of the earlier 4CL model and was raced by many of the era's top drivers. Notably, Juan Manuel Fangio, a five-time Formula One World Champion, and Prince Bira of Siam, an esteemed driver known for his skills and sportsmanship, were among the prominent names who piloted this machine. The 4CLT's competitive presence in the early Formula One races and its continued legacy in historic racing make it a celebrated piece of motorsport history.
